You can't beat Death.<br /><br />Instead, I'd try fighting deaths. Individual deaths of individual people, smaller battles, yes, and smaller victories - but lots of them. Truly, I think most people, if they could claim to have averted as many deaths as you have, would feel like gods themselves.
