All the best! A friend who's run lots of marathons (we call him the glutton for punishment) strongly recommends having a pair of loose, comfy slippers available after the race. Might spoil the image somewhat, though.

I've taken some time off work, and away from the blog in order to visit some family overseas, and whilst I'm there, run my first ever half-marathon.
